Nina Cohen Daycare Centre

The Nina Cohen Daycare Centre (Jerusalem), opened in 1969, is one of six that CHW supports. Currently, the centre provides daily care to over 60 children, in four classrooms. The children come from a variety of backgrounds, with a number of families from the former Soviet Union. Many of the children are at the centre through a welfare referral program, as their families are in desperate need of this assistance. The centre offers a dedicated and well-trained staff of ten who provide guidance and care to the children in a nurturing and enriching environment. There are afternoon parent and child activities that are available.
