Ottawa Hadassah-WIZO Annual Opening Event

Over 60 who attended, had a wonderful time seeing old friends, making new ones, learning something new and having treats at the reception that followed the formal part of the evening which also included a most stimulating speaker: Dr. Mira Sucharov, Associate Professor of Political Science at Carleton University.  We were very fortunate to have Marla Dan, the CHW National President, join us from Toronto via Montreal and she spoke beautifully of our many CHW projects.  This was indeed an excellent opportunity for the Ottawa membership to meet her as well as hear her goals for our organization, CHW.  Esther Kulik spoke enthusiastically of the many achievements in Ottawa Hadassah-WIZO (OHW) over the last few months and spoke glowingly of Toby Yan's accomplishments both in CHW, in OHW and in her other volunteer capacities and activities.
